Música Essencial, founded 12 years ago by professor Márcio Gomes, in partnership with his children Júnio Lage and Amanda Lage, is the result of a vast experience of over 20 years in music education. The school was created with the aim of not only teaching musical technique, but also interpreting music as a language, allowing students to develop a deeper connection with art from the beginning of their journey.

Based on current scientific studies, we know that music and language share many neurological processes. This means that learning music can improve cognitive skills such as attention, emotional intelligence, memory and auditory perception. This approach is adopted at Essential Music as an essential part of the teaching methodology, offering a complete and transformative musical education.

Our structure, consisting of 8 equipped rooms and a professional studio, provides the ideal environment for musical learning, whether in face-to-face or online classes. All of this with the aim of optimizing the artistic and technical development of students, and continuing to impact their lives in a positive way.

With different backgrounds and specializations, they bring a diversity of musical styles, always focused on adapting their teaching to the needs and goals of each student.

More than just imparting technical knowledge, our instructors create a welcoming and motivating environment, helping each student reach their full potential. They are key players in the projects we carry out, such as ME Sessions, NA Calçada and Palco Livre, ensuring that students have rich and challenging experiences, both inside and outside the classroom.
